Pros

Pros: - career encouragement from management, opportunities to job-shadow within the company - most people, including managers are friendly and approachable, and will give advice - lots of little things to make day-to-day work better (free fruit/snacks/coffee, company freebies like bags, jackets, etc) - casual dress code

Cons

Cons: - cheapness permeates the company, both salary-wise and operationally; they constantly seek employee suggestions for process improvements, but won't implement anything unless it doesn't cost them anything - the company has an extremely flat structure - tons of bottom-rung staff and a few managers; it can take a very long time to get where you want to go, which is only made worse by the fact that the company is always stressing how your development is "up to you" - the constant push for "engagement" and creating a "happy" atmosphere can get oppressive sometimes, especially in light of the low pay and (in many departments) extremely high-volumes or repetitive work - micromanaging in certain departments; it's easy to start feeling like a robot when your every action is monitored and tallied
