Pros

Free Coffee, sugar, and cream. Many co-workers are great and are trying to get by just like you. Health insurance is fantastic.

Cons

The company will 100% take advantage of salaried employees and force you to work many hours over a regular shift. They will also recall you at any time in the middle of the night or on weekends for the smallest problems. This issue is normal operating procedure, not a rare occurrence. They take away headcounts from various departments after a worker leaves meaning that less people are inundated with more work. Additionally, the remaining workers are not given enough training or resources to do a decent job. Management at all levels is concerned with covering their own rears, thus they will kowtow to anyone above them. There is no planning. When upper management has a pet project, it will be funded just enough to implement the idea. No training or budget for support will be provided thereafter. The 401k was a joke for so many years. This has been recently changed but it is still sub-par.

Pros

I was allowed to work remotely.

Cons

Salary increases do not keep up with inflation. There were years were I didn't get any raise at all even though I was getting good ratings on my performance review. I was expected to know things but wasn't trained in anything. The culture is very frustrating.
