Pros

Remote work, flexibility, meaningful work and few good people

Cons

Part time work was a nightmare. Hourly wage was low and didn't change for 2 years. Upper management has favorites and will promote them, they're quick to throw you under the bus if you make one small mistake. Very toxic work environment with some assignments requiring a much higher LOE/more hours than what they allow for. If you are entry-level, you have to really fight and keep bothering people to get assignments - there were many weeks where I submitted timesheets with 0 hours because either work wasn't available or managers couldn't effectively allocate work and preferred to give it to mid-upper level staff, not allowing any growth for early career employees. Could barely make my rent payments from this ignorance. Horrible experience.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the flexibility, remote work options, and the meaningful nature of the projects. Compensation and growth opportunities are important factors in the employee experience, which is why we aim to provide a supportive work environment for both full- and part-time employees. We encourage open communication with managers to address any issues related to workload allocation and performance feedback. We take all feedback seriously, and while individual experiences may vary, we strive to ensure that our processes around promotions and workload distribution are transparent and equitable from the start. We are always looking for ways to enhance our practices as we continue to evolve. -HS

People, Mission, Culture, Technology, Remote. You work on projects and technologies that actually impact and improves the day to day lives of people around you, the community and the Country

Cons

Pay, No much room for upward mobility. If you are a high performer, you'll struggle as the structure rewards years spent in the company vs level of expertise or experience.
