Pros
Hyatt posts open jobs internally first before to the public and promotes about 70% from within the company. Good benefits if you are full-time. Monthly employee parties/employee recognition awards.
Cons
Tough to have a work-life balance if you work in operations. The experience with Hyatt will differ depending on which property you work at. Convention hotels are long hours, high stress, high volume, not always a ton of support as turnover is very high.
