Pros

I'd never worked in a hotel before working at the Hyatt Regency. They were very good about training and clarifying Hyatt standards of Guest Services. Hyatt is a leader in luxury hotels, and we take that seriously. We hold ourselves to a standard of excellence, and do our best to maintain those standards.

Cons

Resolving guest complaints can be difficult if one is non-confrontational, but further training and assistance is offered consistently to help everyone improve, and identify ways to avoid issues in the future. When we find new and innovative ways to improve ourselves, we also find ways to improve the guests' experience, thus maintaining the Hyatt standards.

Mass layoffs was a huge issue as that is why I am no longer with the company.
