Owner is fully invested and passionate about the company, highly involved yet allows exec team to manage. Excellent product and pride in engineering and quality. Strong 401K investment incentives + matching. Good vacation and holiday policy. Many strong women in a usually male-dominated industry (manufacturing / security / gate operators).
Cons
In a time of change, transitioning from small business mentality to big business mentality. Long-term employees from small business days resistant to change. Some employees with seniority (10+ years) not held accountable for poor performance which can affect moral of high-performing employees. No maternity / paternity policy and health benefits are lacking.
