Pros
I was really down for a few month after joining because I signed up for a growth story and for my first few months, it was mostly customer churn/lack of sales/people leaving/toxic internal chatter. New management was brought in and I didn't really jive with them. Fast forward a few months, I've had more 1:1s with many of them and now better understand the small and big things they're doing to reignite growth and rebuild the company. One of the things that strikes me is how much they actually care about rebuilding the business and give us an opportunity to truly create impact and grow our professional resumes. There's more clarity in direction and focus now than ever before. I feel now that I can give this company a fair shot and I didn't just join a company to waste time, which is not something I could've said even two months ago.
Cons
Many of us signed up for a very different growth story and you have a ton of disappointed people whom you will have to deal with. This can get depressing. While some have left the company, many like me have a harder time doing so with such a short tenure (it's really insane how they were still hiring people like me last year with their finances).
