Pros

I was a job seeker.

Cons

As an experienced professional in the healthcare sector for more than a decade, I recently applied for a role at Humana, attracted by the organization's espoused principles of commitment, joy and responsibility. However, I must express my profound disappointment with the lack of professionalism evident throughout the interview process. From the outset, it became apparent that the interview lacked the necessary structure to effectively highlight my qualifications and experiences. Instead of accentuating my skills and expertise, the conversation frequently drifted towards underscoring the deficiencies of the team, fostering an unsettling atmosphere of negativity. Despite my eagerness to engage in a constructive discourse about how I could contribute to Humana's mission and objectives, the interview predominantly fixated on depicting the team in an unsupportive manner, leaving scant opportunity to explore my potential alignment with the organization's goals. Regrettably, this experience has left me with the conviction that I would not thrive within such an environment. While I am appreciative of the chance to have participated in the interview process, I am also disheartened by the dissonance between Humana's professed values and the realities manifested in the behavior of its employees. In conclusion, it is my earnest hope that Humana reassesses its approach to interviewing and fosters an environment where professionalism, respect, and mutual recognition of individual capabilities prevail. As a fervent advocate for quality healthcare, I remain committed to seeking opportunities that resonate with my values and facilitate professional development.
