Pros
If you're a healthcare professional, I think it's an excellent place to learn, make an impact and grow. As a marketer, I found it to be way behind and lacking awareness of how to leverage marketing.
Cons
As many have said, a lot depends on your manager. Several micro-managers at the company and I would consider a few things about marketing. If you are interested in marketing as an established function, I would try and look elsewhere. Marketing is an execution arm of various operational needs. Similar to agency work.
