Pros
Very good ethical atmosphere, hard working, and oriented toward doing well by doing good. There is lot's of opportunity when coming up from the bottom for hard work and creativity to be rewarded. Good benefits and reasonable pay (very good for the area around Louisville). There are signs that the new President is shaking things up.
Cons
The upper level management is hampered, at least in IT, by an entrenched culture which may give lip service to innovation but doesn't is too cautious to make real change. Some policies, particularly regarding the way funding get's allocated cause a highly siloed environment. There are signs of change but working there is a source of perpetual frustration.
