Everything else, and I'm not even exaggerating. Leadership in general is a disaster; not only is it a huge boy's club, but they know exactly how to bait and switch their employees. They will promise you compensation and care, only to turn around on your last day at the company and claim they "didn't know you cared about compensation" (yes, this really happened). They will drown you in work that isn't even part of your job description, so that by the time you're a few months in, you're doing 5+ roles in one with no support (and again, no pay). I had, no joke, two of my managers fired on me in under two years. For no reason other than petty biases and politics in the workplace. These biases, mind you, are "protected" by the very LET'S GO values HqO has -- which are only used subjectively to protect or fire people from the company. Not one leader there actually embodies those values. In fact, leadership is a liability waiting to happen; in several all-hands company meetings, they have glorified the likes of Elon Musk, war-torn cities (yes, this is also real), and more "role models" who are extremely problematic. To make it even more questionable, leadership genuinely believes in these things. On the product side, there is no product-market fit. The company is failing financially because real estate customers don't want to purchase an overpriced app that is underdeveloped (HqO also fired or lost most of its engineering team, but it's not like they invested in the UX/UI of the product beforehand anyway). Overall, it's a company run by toxic leadership trying to sell an unviable product. I sincerely hope that anyone wishing to apply here reads these reviews and takes them seriously. There is good reason why all of the reviews from the past year are jarringly negative.
