Cons
This company operates 365 days a year so you will be working days, nights, holidays, and weekends with the inability to take off holidays. The case volume for the amount of staff is overwhelming, but they are working on that. Overworking employees remains a consistent issue though. There continues to be a high turnover rate, and instead of rewarding the long-standing employees who have chosen to stay with the company, they reward new hires with incentives to try and keep them to stay longer. Where the health benefits are free for employees, and significantly reduced in cost for family, or just children, the benefits themselves are not very good, and they lack compared to other benefit plans with other employers. There is no good work life balance as much as they try to promote that, you are constantly held over on your shift, due to high case volume, and you are repeatedly contacted on your days off to cover shifts where people are out sick or they just don’t have the staffing to cover the activity.
