Pros
Get to pick your schedule (if client doesnt cancel and you are left with no work)
Cons
Clients sometimes book cleaning services and then cancel at the last minute. In a first‑come, first‑serve business, a cancellation the day before a job usually means losing that entire day’s income because it’s too late to fill the spot. Many clients also expect a full house cleaning — for example, 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 3 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, hardwood floors throughout, and three dogs — all completed by one person in just 3 hours. That amount of work realistically requires much more time or a full team. When the job can’t be finished within the limited time the client booked, cleaners often receive unfair negative reviews, even though the expectations were unrealistic from the start. Your pay is usually $6 less then what you are asking for because they charge you it if it is your first time working with the client. But the client is always going to go for a new cleaner cause they get charged less.
