Pros

flexible? if you wanted to do this stuff

Cons

They scrape for any resume in the area and get you to come in. You are not special because you were contacted. They just want a head count to increase their odds of getting a sucker. The newcomers sell door to door. The "managers" are just the ones who bought into this stuff for so long that they can now be the ones to talk the newcomers into selling and push them around. The environment is shirt & tie just to look overly professional. Nothing going on here other than keeping the cycle of sellers trying to become managers. I see right through this fake junk. No doubt some good reviews on here are fake.

Pros

I have worked for a lot of other companies - and none of them had the environment and energy as High Tide does. It makes me want to come to work everyday. Co - workers are great. Tons of energy.

Cons

I started in a sales position - and I had no prior sales experience. It was out of my comfort zone when I started - but my trainer was great. The pros of working here definitely out weigh the cons that come with every job.

Pros

Great people to work with

Cons

You are left in the dark about what you will be doing in the interview process. They make it sound like what you will be doing is a great opportunity and you will learn a lot. On the first day you spend the first two and a half hours in the office then you go out to the "field". you have to wear a suit and tie to the office. Then you change out of your suit in a gas station into a bright orange at&t shirt and shorts, which threw me off. You then park your car in a neighborhood and go door to door trying to sell at&t phone internet and tv. Took me a while but I realized that we are ultimately ripping off these people because they can get a better deal online. There is no point to even go door to door. If you don't make commission you receive minimum wage, which is not even given for the two and a half hours that you are in the office. You end up working from 11 to 730 Monday through Friday and Saturday from 1030 to 430. After you are trained you have to drive yourself to all of the house which was at times over 50 minutes to get to and you would not be compensated for this commute. overall fake experience and they lie to possible interns about what the internship will actually be.
