Pros

Helpful recruiters, relaxed working environment, easy to navigate system, students are lovely

Cons

They do not answer questions about the bank charges they deduct from your salary. I've never been charged over $30 for bank charges from any other school.

Pros

After a year tutoring consistently with this company, I can say that the *only* positive is the students. They are (mostly) kind and engaged.

Cons

- The pay is painfully low with zero chance of raises ($10/hr USD & lower for those in other countries) - The teaching platform is atrocious, straight out of 2005. Very difficult to use & navigate and has not been updated at all in the year I've been with them. - The communication and lack of support from the company is the worst I've ever seen. You have access to two people, titled "Customer Service" and "HR Management." The only way to speak with them is via a built-in chat box (unless you want to file a formal complaint via a form, but be warned, this seems to go right to the HR Management person). They do not truly listen (I assume this might be a language barrier issue, which is understandable, but also something that can be fixed!!!) and will continue to (1) not answer your questions or (2) direct you to unhelpful graphics / documents. - Unclear fees in payment / For a year, I had my pay directly sent to Wise to avoid exorbitant transfer fees. A month ago, my pay was suddenly short about $30. Wise clearly states any/all fees they take, and the HR Management was incredibly unkind & unhelpful, essentially insisting it was my fault. It took days of back and forth for them to check with their payroll dept to make certain I HAD been paid the correct amount.
