Pros
Sales Experience is gained as long as you are a self starter as upper management is not that involved and support is rarely given. Employees get a company car at branch manager level position or higher. It is a decent stepping stone as it is a large well known company and you get some sales knowledge. The very best thing available is the possible contacts and references that you get from the people you meet that could help you get to the next level for your career. As you see many business people face to face and get to interact with them.
Cons
The flow of information throughout the company is horrible and the employees on the front line are not treated as importantly as they should be in the fact that they make the company go. Employees are forgotten and asked to do everything at the lower level. In fact had upper management request that we go repo a car after it was not returned. Asked them to explain seeing how trying to go get a car in a bad part of town and putting the employees at risk seemed a little out of the job description. In short, was told to just get it done.
