Pros
Started early 2018. Never thought I would work in sales much less insurance! I am loving it. Everyone is very supportive and you make what you put in. The provide the leads and you work them. No cold calling unless you make that choice. I love working when it suits me. Of course, if you don't work, you don't make money. I am looking forward to taking the trip to Hawaii that I won this year! Lots of opportunities to win trips or bonuses. HRT recently started advertising on WBAP, The Way, The Word, The Ticket (streaming) and KRLD. Very positive responses and I can see that this is really going to make this company grow and I'm excited to be on the ground floor.
Cons
To start the insurance business there are quite a few out of pocket expenses to be prepared for such as buying licenses, e&o insurance and appointments etc. Takes awhile to build your business. A lot of new agents come in and don't understand that and get frustrated.
