Pros

Great company to work for. The people (or at least the ones I have met) are straightforward and realistic about what to expect and how to achieve the goals that I have (or others that I know). Leads are great and are structured so that they go to the people and teams that deserve to get them and work hard. Commissions are good to great and reflect higher than average from what I have seen out there. The policies offered are everything from ACA plans to STMs to indemnity and add ons. You are discouraged from selling straight indemnity to customers unless sold in conjunction with other ancillaries that strengthen the plans. It is noce having ACA plans as a backup if customers don't qualify for STMs or other products, so I can always get paid.

Cons

This is not an atmosphere to people who only sell to get advances or do not care about what is truly good/great for the customer. Thos who do not intend to actually give it a full time or part time job won't make it. You get what you put into it, so if you are interested in HRT be ready to be honest about your expectations. Part timers are OK, just make sure to say that up front as leads are based on work ethic. If you want lead access, then definitely go over what you are willing to put in (as in effort) so that you don't have the wrong expectations.

Any sales position can be difficult in any industry, but we do our best to train and work with our agents to do the best they can and get to the level they need to make it. We have W2 positions for agents that need a base income, but most agents choose the 1099 positions for the freedom and flexibility. Whatever your goal, please let us know, and we will do our best for you.

Pros

I have been licensed for over 4 years now - my first 2 years as a captive agent with another company was very tough but a good learning experience. After 2 years at Health Reform Team I have developed a profitable book of business with multiple A rated carriers, started to team build, and am making more money than I ever have in my life! The reason why I made the change after the first 2 years was for survival, I had to change my approach by integrating new technology, introducing a lead system beyond cold calling and referrals, and expand my portfolio. I was able to do all these things and more with Health Reform Team and am excited about all the opportunities to come!

Cons

100% Commission - but to me that is a Pro because people get paid what they are worth!

We have good agents, and we have great agents. This sounds like a great agent. We do our best to help agents make the most of themselves, while helping customers get the best plan for their needs. We do not believe in a true cold call, and prefer slightly warmer prospects to help. Additionally, we make considerable investments into our technology and lead sources to bring as many inbounds as we can. Keep up the good work!
