Pros

Mission and the people in IT

Cons

Since the start of the year numerous senior leaders have been leaving for countless reasons given. One thing is more then evident, people leave managers and the CEO seems to be losing them in bundles. Today we witnessed another senior IT leader leaving the company. At the going away party, the CEO could not make a believable or sincere farewell to a person that has given and sacrificed so much for this company. The CEO clearly does not value anyone but himself as he strutted around so arrogant and smug.

Pros

• Supportive middle management, largely remaining from the previous leadership team. • Friendly coworkers and a culture that was historically strong before recent leadership changes negatively impacted morale.

Cons

• CIO is heavily favoring contractors from prior companies, spending millions on firms like Aberdeen which she was the CIO of 10 months before hanger while neglecting existing Hangar employees and giving the impression that FTEs are replaceable. • Poor office environment for IT staff — cluttered workspaces, exposed wires, and temporary tables — while leadership upgraded and expanded executive office space. • Inconsistent and unclear RTO expectations. • Historically low raises and bonuses despite major overspending on contractors tied to the CIO’s previous network. • Little effort from leadership to build culture or invest in employee morale within IT.
