Pros

It could have been a great place to learn if the atmosphere was not suffocating and management did not make every day unbearable.

Cons

The job, the people, and leadership were some of the hardest I have ever dealt with. Constant micromanagement and interference made every task slower, more frustrating, and completely exhausting. Nothing about the work felt smooth or manageable.

We want this firm to be exactly what you described: a place where people can genuinely learn and grow. We are sorry your experience did not meet those expectations. A suffocating atmosphere and an unmanageable workload are conditions nobody should have to face, and your feedback indicates we need to investigate how leadership can best support the team day to day. We take this seriously and are committed to making real changes. Please feel free to reach out to Adela Zepcan, Director of Human Resources, if you want to share more about your experience, because we are listening.

Pros

The entire team, from top to bottom, is welcoming and eager to teach you what they know.

Cons

This is a fast paced environment, and is not suitable for all work styles.

Pros

Though most of them don't really care about the people who come for help, not all associates and staff are heartless. There's still a few who are sincerely trying to help especially those who don't have the means and the pro bono cases. Those who still keep going despite the stress, the exhaustion, and how difficult and mean others can be.

Cons

It's either you're leaving the company or you're getting fired! The turnover rate is very high and once you're here, you won't wonder why! Aside from leadership being abusive, some of the attorneys and associates were arrogant and abusive as well! They gaslight the staff, make us feel like we've done nothing right, and that we're awfully useless!! They immediately shut us down, not allowing us to explain ourselves, but points out that everything we do is wrong!!! Everyone here can say that the workplace is toxic and that's due to these toxic people! They always think they're right even when their actions were obviously cruel, mean, and abusive!! They push people down because they have the power to! They use the law to scare us and use fear to run the workplace! It's clear to me that they do this not to fight for people and help them, but does this purely for business and smooch people off of their money!!!

he employees you describe—those who show up every day for clients with little, take on pro bono cases, and keep going despite exhaustion—embody the kind of people and purpose this firm is built around, and we are grateful they are here. We are sorry, however, that the broader environment has made their work, and yours, more difficult. The concerns you raise are serious, and we do not take them lightly. Every person in this firm, client and employee alike, deserves to be treated with dignity. We encourage you to reach out to Adela Zepcan, our Director of Human Resources, if you are willing to share more. What you described matters, and we want to do right by the people who are still fighting for others even when things are tough.
