Pros

There is a lot to learn here. It was very challenging and I feel that it has helped me become a much better engineer in many ways. They push you to understand everything about a part or assembly when there is an issue which forces you to be very well-rounded. Working here has made me much more competitive and confident in the job market. Pay and benefits are decent. Monthly lunches, bonuses, and year-end celebrations are nice. It's a slightly above-average place to work, I would probably give it 3.5 stars if glassdoor allowed.

Cons

Hectic and stressful environment to work in, it's very easy to get burnt out. Everyone is spread very thin. People like to throw other people under the bus when times get tough. You get witch-hunted for using math and science here. Will constantly need to juggle projects and tasks, this makes it difficult to complete projects and feel satisfied with your work. A lot of stuff gets swept under the rug and passed around. Nearly every task and project is a moving target... priorities and requirements change by the hour or based off the lunar phase from what it felt like. A lot of the company is emotionally-driven.

Pros

This is a great company to work for. As a manufacturing engineer you get a well rounding experience that allows you to get hands-on assembly/troubleshooting experience, tool design experience, and new product implementation experience. The pay is competitive with monthly bonuses as well as annual bonuses and the 401K discretionary contribution by the employer ends up being higher than the average match offered by other employers. Overall, Haas is a great place to work!

Cons

The only con in my opinion is that the company is moving production to Henderson, NV.
