Pros
HSP Direct at its core is a political fundraising agency for the far-right. Anticipate supporting candidates, PACs, Super-PACs, non-profits, etc. with far-right political and social beliefs. Like most agencies (even if it is located in Ashburn, VA) there are several perks to make up for the long hours and high stress environment…refreshments in the kitchen, shuffleboard, Christmas parties/anniversary parties, company-paid trips if the agency hits their goals (plus family), individual incentive-based bonuses, etc.
Cons
Unfortunately, there wasn't a team mentality and colleagues are more than willing to throw someone’s name under the bus to save their own skin. Nepotism is rampant in all departments in the agency. It is important you make the right connections early. Management and leadership lacked an awareness of want job seekers and employees desire in a company such as DEI training, flexible work hours, opportunities for growth, etc.
