Pros

- typical day at work will involve a lot of stock management & customer service. Also need to send daily & monthly report. Stock management includes stocktake, deliveries, transfer to & from other store, and arranging stockroom. - got some learning oppurtunity, but depends on relationship with store leadership. - workplace is very Cina. Unless you get sent to Malay area, but some outlets can get toxic when fighting for commission. - can turn off your brain if you enjoy physical labor.

Cons

- stand whole day, cannot sit. High physical requirements (a lot of product to arrange). - Unpaid OT especially during deliveries. Store managers will collect your money if u arrive late. Any lost or damage item need ownself pay. Cannot immediately go home after work, need to make sure all hangers straight and tags put inside. You will go home 30 minutes to 1.5 hours late on normal days. Peak season or delivery... no need to go home. Just stay for 3 hours and MAYBE you will get OT. All this not stated in offer letter contract but they will pressure you, saying it's your fault / standard procedure. - they say 45 hour work week but you will spend at least 52 hours per week working. - low-key racist to Indians. They will avoid hiring in some outlets. Malay ok but cannot wear tudung. - so called benefit is all bare minimum mandated by law. HealthMetrics is low at RM60/month. Other companies give RM80/day.
