Pros

Work from home, Paid Training and they provide you with equipment. The trainers and mentors at HGS are really good people who really seem to care.

Cons

Pay rate is low ($11.00). Considering the ridiculous amount of information you need to learn during training in order to do your job once your on your own. Even though you have mentors you can reach out to over Skype and they guide you through the calls... It's still stressful because they just expect too much for not enough money. There's also so much that is not automated that you have to go hunting around for in the different programs etc. all the while when you have an upset Aetna Medicare member on the phone waiting for you to assist them within 3-5 minutes.... HGS has many jobs that I'm sure are great... But working for HGS specifically as an "Aetna Medicare Member services Representative" is too much for too little. Perhaps try going straight to Aetna and you'd get paid A LOT more for the same exact position.
