Pros
Some of the clients are interesting, well-known, or exciting. Having dogs in the office makes the stressful days more manageable. Occasional retreat days are nice; like State Fair Day and the extravagant holiday party.
Cons
Day-to-day, expect long hours and a lot of stress. The brand strategists are stretched thin, which makes a lot of accounts/projects mismanaged and disorganized. There are a lot of senior-level employees and not a lot of junior employees. The senior employees are so busy or too checked out to be active and helpful if you’re a junior employee looking to learn and gain experience. Some of the senior-level employees are not qualified for the positions they hold. Generally, the salary/pay is significantly lower than the DFW average. In addition to the lower pay, the benefits are not generous (despite what they say), and the health insurance is extremely expensive. The leadership is very unwilling to listen to its junior and mid-level employees. Even worse, they pretend like they’re listening, but never follow through. Across the board, there are a lot of strong personalities that work there, so be prepared to get pushed around.
