Pros
It’s okay money and good experience for anyone looking to work on large aircraft and are just starting out. You will learn a lot about the aircraft, the big customers of freight and commercial aviation, and the kind of people it takes to stay there for 15 years
Cons
If you’re young and can move around, this is not the place to be. Again, it is good for getting your feet wet but there is more money to be made elsewhere. If you’re content with doing the same thing every few months and doing reworks often and putting up with people who will externalize their stress onto you and your team, this is the place for you. They will work you to the bone if you allow them to, and if you don’t they might mandate you to come in. The environment is kind of political and fake like being around high schoolers. If you want to move up or around you have to push for it. Be prepared for people to complain about you doing better for yourself should you choose that route. This is my experience and others have had better, which is why they stay for years. People either stay for a couple or forever, there isn’t much of an in between. Good luck.
