Collegiate, interesting clients, respect in the market place. All the plusses of big corporate.
Cons
Benefits are slowly eroded over the years. Below inflation pay increases year on year - for even the highest rated performers - slowly ensure that your salary will below that on offer elsewhere. The expectation is that there will be nowhere to go and you will stay for the sake of being at Guy Carpenter. Unfortunately this means that the good colleagues you get decide that it's not the place for them and leave for pastures new. A slow drain on talent and enthusiasm.
