Pay was low. They hire under false promises. Will tell you you can grow and won’t have to be on phones much. I struggled getting jobs in Payroll because the role itself is more customer service than actually handling payroll. Your schedule is constantly changing & roles. They have a program that determines if you’ll get a raise when metrics requirements are consistently changing and being revamped. It’s rare to get it. HR protects the company not you
