Pros

great benefits - hybrid work schedule - upper management seem to try to get to know everyone.

Cons

Some department managers have a tendency to over work that one person that doesn't say no - so that person ends up being overworked and underpaid.

Pros

Genuine managers who care about personal life , 9/80 schedule , hybrid work, great 401k match.

Cons

Not the typical corporate culture, if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s a laid back “open concept” environment

Pros

Great team of experienced professionals, the people are great to work with. Lots of opportunity for growth. Work is engaging and very rewarding; if you have a go-getter mentality you will thrive here. Great culture and benefits; 50/50 Hybrid and 9/80 schedule, great compensation and 401k match. Just moved into a nice new office in Eldridge Oaks building. Immediate access to Terry Hershey Park and nice gym and restaurant facilities/common area on first floor.

Cons

Not uncommon to have to work a few hours overtime here and there, but that is very normal in O&G/consulting work. You do get paid for OT hours, and the flexibility &comp that GIE provides more than makes up for it. If I ever need to log a few extra hours to keep pace with workload, I am often able to do so from home at my convenience. Management is also very reasonable and are understanding of personal circumstance and family matters. No matter how busy, I've always been reassured that family comes first.
