In my experience, middle management lacked practical background in software implementation, business systems analysis, and structured project delivery. This resulted in decision-making that prioritized speed over quality and process discipline.
Core implementation fundamentals — such as proper requirements gathering, structured validation, stakeholder alignment, and adequate testing before delivery — were often minimized or bypassed.
