Pros
Autonomy. For the most part you are trusted to act as an adult and to perform your work without someone constantly looking over your shoulder. And there are always people willing and able to help and to bounce ideas off of. Great collaborative environment.
Cons
Not everyone in the company thinks things all the way through before proceeding. There could also be more transparency for employees, and better opportunities to stay up-to-date on what the company is doing and how it's being done.
