Pros

None, so far. If I had to choose something it would be two of the residents I’ve met thus far and their pets, honestly.

Cons

Lack of proper training and onboarding. Being brand new to the company and my location, and being left in the office by myself to figure out processes and procedures. I’ve worked an extremely short time and can already tell it may not work out. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of organization from such a huge company. There are at least 8 different software platforms “necessary” to complete daily tasks instead of one centralized program for everything. And again I have to stress, there is very little to no guidance on how to use them. My manager passes me 500 tasks a day and most of the time I have to ask 1,000 questions because I’ve had no formal training and have no clue what they are referring to. It is absolutely exhausting because I am still settling into my role and the constant distraction of being thrown tasks I have no idea how to complete is frustrating. I have almost ten years of industry experience and having to ask simple questions because of the lack of proper onboarding makes me feel like this is the first job I’ve ever had. Also, I feel a lot of the tasks, especially some of the reports, are unnecessary and redundant. I did not expect this outcome and am uncertain now if I am willing to put up with what can be deemed a mess just to “move up quickly”.

Pros

-Great networking opportunities. -Good IT support. -Great benifits. -Great employee housing discount and housing opportunities. -Commissions will make your paycheck worth it.

Cons

-Management is broad and impersonal. You may feel like a number. -Your workload can be a lot at times. if you work well under pressure, you'd succeed here. -The leasing season is not year round meaning you will have slow months and you will have good ones. Save in the good months to get through the slow ones. -High turnover. Resilience will get you far. -It's rare that you get your weekends at a company like this.
