Pros

I’ve worked at Green Guard for 6 years now. I started right out of college as a Territory Manager for entry level sales. After two years, I was promoted to Sales Manager. I really enjoyed my TM position and was given all of the tools needed to succeed. Now as an SM, I enjoy my job even more. I’m so impressed with the many great changes over the last six years. Green Guard continues to expand our product offerings and territories, increase TM and SM pay (bonuses and commission percentages), and add additional product promotions! Upper management is responsive and eager to help more than ever before. I also am thrilled that we are now working closely with our parent company to expand our customer base. The first aid division and uniform division work as a team. This creates so much opportunity for our sales force! Green Guard has always been great about promoting from within. There’s a reason why we have so many employees with 10 plus years of experience with the company. I look forward to advancing my career with Green Guard for many more years to come! Office personnel are so responsive and helpful now. Great improvements in that department as well.

Cons

Too few to mention. Many of the cons from years ago have long been resolved.

Pros

Green Guard is the place where you develop your skills and create your contacts that are going to carry you thru the rest of your life. There are sales jobs, were Zig Ziegler would have been fired in first thirty days due to lack of production. Whole Life Insurance and Copier sales come to mind. Very few could make that work and doesn't mean there not right for sales. Green Guard thru there structured education programs, help develop employees skills at a slower pace by balance out cold calling and relationship selling which is vital in every buisness. Most people that leave go on to be very successful in life at there next job.

Cons

Summer's are hot and winters are cold. You won't get rich and sometimes they focus more on paperwork than sales. But it's competitive wage and I saved a lot of money not devaluing my assets.

Appreciate the comments, we do focus on the balance of sales and customer service. As you know, this is a sales role and for those that are good at selling and customer service this position can be a great fit.
