Pros

The benefits and flexibility are without a doubt what keeps people at GPTW for such long tenures. Work from anywhere, noteworthy support when personal circumstances affect your work, flexible hours for pretty standard roles, healthcare, gym membership, VISAs, and fully expensed travel for work socials (trains, flights, hotels from different continents) ..a very generous perk, though not something everyone gets to benefit from. and, a generic but worthwhile comment - the people are actually nice.

Cons

The issue is that the benefits can’t hide the fact that the current set up isn’t working. People appreciate the perks, but it’s hard to overlook the lack of clear strategy or execution for a company that is still calling itself a 'scale up.' There’s obvious favouritism and hierarchy within the leadership team, and it is very clear when people have been promoted beyond their capability resulting in teams being left in the hands of people who lack the qualifications or experience for that position. The recent investment/ acquistion earlier this year was sold to us as a positive turning point - we were growing, we'd have proper investment in the product, improved processes etc. Instead, job security became less certain, people have been frustrated and anxious and that's had an expected impact on culture, and now many people are leaving after having trusted that better things were coming. It’s incredibly disappointing to be leaving feeling undervalued and not much better off than when you joined .. ironically from a place called 'Great Place to Work.

Pros

The people are incredible, the pay is fair for the expectations that they want from you. Depending on your manager it's incredibly flexible as long as you are performing. You are noticed and recognized when you do great work even when you don't want to be necessarily. It's okay that we don't innovate quickly or spend money on our product to beat the competition as it's a huge bet to place and a lot of peoples livelihoods at stake but if we want to really win, that's what it's going to take. All that said, I love working here and I am extremely committed to our mission and the way I am able to make a difference in my clients lives daily.

Cons

Product changes are so minuscule and inconsequential to the customer experience. If the recognition aspect of our product didn't exist we would be destroyed by our competition. We are at the mercy of our overlords and the decisions at UKG.

Pros

The work was really mission driven which made the job easy to come to.was able to work with some amazing clients and colleagues and was good at my job because I enjoyed it but….

Cons

Sales leadership is constantly re-organizing, with lack of direction and organization. Sales is led by a totalitarian mindset vs supportive. Extreme favoritism, biased, no accountability for lack of process and support. So much responsibility is placed on the actual rep. Not to mention there are total HR nightmares happening behind the scenes due to extreme favoritism practices and biases! Lack of any professional growth
