      Very hard company to work for! - Assistant Manager Great Clips Employee Review

      Pros

      Get a lot of hours, most of the time great tips if you are in a busy store.

      Cons

      It's very hard to advance in the company depending on the franchise. Hair cut times have to be 15 minutes or less. Product percent must be at 10% or above or you could be terminated. Underpaid & overworked! High turnover rate! No medical insurance.

      Pros

      Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

      Cons

      Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.

      Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

      Cons

      Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
