Pros

It's great, it's flexible, fun, there's lots of promotions for stylist and customers and appreciation for a job well done. I have only been there a month but I have worked in other salons, both similar and full service, very high end may I add, and Great Clips is great! No there's no chemical service, but just do those on the side, they don't care, there's no competition since it's not offered in the salon. I've read reviews where people are complaining about having to do snips in under 17 minutes but whats to complain about? People come here expecting they will be out in half an hour and lets face it, if you can't do a clipper cut (men and kids are 80% of the business) in under 17 minutes your screwing around way to much. No man, or kid, wants to sit in a chair for longer than that any way! If you're quick and can do a good job you'll make lots of money, tips and commission, have fun doing it and get a gracious pat on the back. I love that it's like a hair-cut factory, days fly by, tips are plentiful and you never know who's going to sit in your chair next!

Cons

I don't have any cons yet, my manager is wonderful and the owner is a great guy who really cares. If you couldn't imagin charging less that $60 a snip this isn't for you. You have to be fast but good, some people can impress in 15 minutes, some need hours.

Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.
