Pros
1. You'll get to pitch your whacky ideas a lot. 2. It's a good place if you're just starting. You'll get an exposure to working on pitches and presentations. 3. If you like content creation, you can channelise that interest through video production.
Cons
1. The upper management is just there to dump workload on you. If you think you can thrive and work single-handedly without having a collaborative environment, go for it! 2. If you plan on taking a leave when you fall sick, think thrice before falling sick because the managers might not approve your leave and ask you to work from home even with a 104-degree fever. On the other hand, their leave gets approved even in a minor inconvenience. 3. You'll find yourself working for long hours while your managers log out at 7 PM sharp without giving two cents about you needing their help or not. You even might have to cancel your EOD plans just because all the work needs to be closed the same day. 4. The Account Management team does everything except doing their job properly. There's a lot of interference in the creative process. They think that the creative team knows nothing. They are your internal clients before you go to the actual client for approvals. They have a curt and dismissive attitude towards the creative team, and they look down upon them. They might screw up in the job they do, but will never take accountability for it. They can never push back a client, whatever the client says, they'll just agree and dump unrealistic timelines on you. 5. The deadlines are unrealistic in this workplace. Everything is urgent. You won't have the room to think. If you're someone who's okay with being a ChatGPT warrior, without actually trying to think on your own, this place is a paradise for you. 6. Your immediate senior might not back you up, so you need to be prepared in your defence make them count the effort you put in.
