Pros
I never worked with such humble and grounded leadership before. Humanity was the core of the interactions and focus while ensure the work the meet the mission of the organization was met authentically. Open door policy. Open to feedback. Changes were implemented. Constant self reflection about what could be improve. Benefits are great and standard nonprofit salary increases.
Cons
The workload of the frontline staff was overwhelmingly large. Although the organization was financially stable, some budget constrains known to nonprofits, expansion could not happened making very difficult to keep high moral. -Although the organization did some salary adjustments after doing intensive internal review, salary still were on the low range. However, this allowed for many entry level candidates to have the opportunity to gain experience. Career opportunities can be little to know because people on leadership roles stay with the organization for years.
