Pros
The people you work with in the trenches are wonderful. Middle management tries their best but cannot get anything done because of the roadblocks at the top.
Cons
The executive team is ineffective and all they do is point fingers at others. No one above a Director can take ownership for their mistakes. They spend all their time is meetings talking about work but never actually make any decisions or do anything to advance the company. GoCanvas takes full credit for any successes of SiteDocs and DeviceMagic, and never owns any of their mistakes. Communication does not happen at GoCanvas. No one talks to each other, every project is disorganized, ideas from anyone lower than a Director are completely ignored or laughed at. When questions were asked about compensation, the CEO told the entire company that is was a "fairy tale" to expect answers about why compensation is not equal. Wage increases are promised but never followed through on. HR in unapproachable and often makes you feel like a burden for asking questions about your compensation, benefits, and work-life balance Any hard questions are always met with corporate nonsense and never actually answered. Feedback surveys are collected every week but nothing mentioned in them is ever actioned. When issues are raised, leadership always meets them with a "my way or the highway" attitude. If you're not part of the "I love Viyas" club then your ideas and feedback will never go anywhere. While all of this is happening, leadership is constantly talking about how they are "killing it" and are "effing awesome" and calling themselves "freaking rockstars" while ignoring the fact that all of their lower level employees are miserable and looking for a way out.
