Pros

Honestly, not many, I started applying for new jobs my first month there. -Some colleagues are supportive and collaborative. -Interesting projects, occasionally. -Provides insight into a niche sector of the PR industry. -There's an office dog, so there's that.

Cons

My time here was incredibly negative for my mental health. The company values conformity over diversity and is not supportive of their workforce. -Claims of wellness and flexibility are contradicted by a frustrating and unhealthy work environment. -Feedback on company processes is invited but ignored. -Lack of transparency. -Stifles creativity, acting as yes men for clients. -Employee feedback cycle focuses on protecting the company, not employee growth. -Industry focus is dry and client type rarely varies. -They're quick to push out employees (within 6 months) who do not conform. -Too much work per employee. -Low pay, low morale and high turnover.

Thank you for your feedback. We are rigorous during the first six months because it’s important, as a responsible company, to provide fair and transparent feedback so all parties know where they stand. Employment is a two-way process and it's just as important to ensure the role is the right fit for the individual, as it is for the agency. We closely monitor our time-tracking software to have real-time oversight of working patterns, and this is openly discussed with the whole team. We categorically do not support overtime, and any instances are promptly addressed by line managers. We are proud of our excellent work/life balance and invest heavily in fostering a supportive atmosphere where our team can excel and thrive. Likewise, we’re proud to retain our clients with long-term partnerships and we have a 100% staff retention rate at our senior level. We understand that some people prefer the variety of project work, but for the majority of our team, this retained model works really well. If you have any further suggestions, we welcome you to reach out directly so we can address them appropriately.

Pros

A great place to start if you want to work in PR. A lot of learning can be done and the pace is fast.

Cons

A culture of 'niceness' but not friendly as such. London office is very quiet with palpable stress. Noticeable illness, and people going off sick then leaving. Several six-month probations extended while I was there (people tended to leave rather than stick it out). A lot of criticism - some of it stored up for your reviews - and a feeling that your best is not enough. All this may have changed since I left.

Pros

Provides a good insight into a niche sector of the technology industry. Some nice and supportive colleagues and clients.

Cons

Around a third of the company has left in the past year or so which says a lot. Despite preaching support of employee mental health and women in business on social platforms and to media outlets, my experience was a stark contrast. Certain members of the senior leadership team are the most toxic and unprofessional I’ve encountered thus far in my career, and will think nothing of exhibiting bullying tactics towards team members they dislike. Unfair and non-transparent feedback processes, often used as a method for the senior leadership team to channel their personal opinions, and in some cases, vendettas. Will invite feedback on company processes but as another review on here mentioned, they will almost certainly ignore it and will also target anyone with a contrary opinion to leave by making their life at the company unpleasant. Benefits package not comparable to the rest of the industry.
