Pros

None. All the good reasons were fired with no notice.

Cons

These people lie. Constantly. They'll tell you they built a great product everyone wants, but this is a lie- the product has severe technical limitations and its outdated reporting modules makes it practically useless. They'll tell you they are investing millions in America, when in fact they are investing nothing and won't even buy you a desk monitor until you plead for months. Like earning money? Don't work here. In addition to a skewed comp plan that won't properly compensate you on deals unless you sell 3 times more than anyone else in the history of the company, the back end systems are hopelessly broken, with a compliance team constantly rejecting 'spammers' (good companies that come from systems with better compliance teams than Getresponse), and a legal team that writes archaic contracts and refuses to talk to customers- dragging many deals out for months and crushing many more. Finally, management reacts extremely negatively to being questioned, even if the questions are reasonable. One rep asked in a meeting how the comp plan was calculated, since he had run a report that clearly showed no one hit the number. required to earn any money. After demanding how the sales rep learned this information (it was in the CRM), the rep was angrily told not to question how the comp plan was constructed, just to know that it was put together 'very precisely.' We then had our ability to make reports pulled, so no one could check the sales numbers or question management again. This would be understandable if Management acted as if they understood the business they are in. They don't. They'll brag about having over 3000 enterprise customers, when that number is shamefully low for a company with a decade of enterprise grade product offerings. They will tell you to differentiate Getresponse as an 'account managed service,' apparently unaware that every other service in this price bracket has an account manager. This is how little they understand their business. There may be a response to this message. Most likely saying that 'we are sorry we feel this way,' or possibly calling us liars violating our contracts. We posted here because we have a moral responsibility to make sure no one deals with this terrible company. Don't get used like we were.

Pros

Good people Remote work Positive work/life balance

Cons

There are many. Zero diversity. Do not work here if you aren't Polish. Limited growth opportunities. Frequent and unfair layoffs. Unorganized chaos. Feels like a small business. Expect to be doing random tasks that aren't in your job description and picking up other peoples slack.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you valued the people, remote setup, and work/life balance - these are all things we deeply care about. We’d love to understand more about the concerns you raised, especially regarding your comment about diversity - we have team members from various countries outside of Poland, many in Director and Manager roles, and are working hard on maintaining a highly inclusive environment. We’re also sorry to hear you didn’t feel growth was possible here, as we invest heavily in development opportunities including transparent career paths, skills-development budgets, internal skill-building webinars, and internal role changing recruitments. If you're open to sharing more details, please reach out to our Employee Experience or Talent teams, or drop us a line at talent@getresponse.com - we truly value your perspective.
