Pros

Working with high load production, interesting projects, nice HQ with free lunches

Cons

I effectively got managed out by a new manager that tried to show his efficiency. After I and my teammate were fired due to "bad performance", the said manager was demoted to a dev and then fired as well. Also, highly toxic stacked performance (Amazon model) when performance ratings MUST be distributed between team members, meaning that somebody must be named the worst in the team, even if the team is all high performers. It leads to people showing off, and you never know if somebody genuinely wants to help you or it's for the sake of public recognition / better performance rating. I was literally told be the manager to not help people in DMs and write public responses instead so that "everybody sees that you are helping people". This all turns really interesting work into "show off as much as you can to outperform your teammates". I am working for an amazing company now, but I've got PTSR during my first year in a new place because I couldn't believe people can just speak with you without bring it later to a daily standup.

Pros

1. Excellent benefits and vision: Strong company culture, great perks, and a clear, respectful environment for employees. 2. Thriving history: Before the BSM era, the company was warm, people-oriented, and experienced consistent business growth.

Cons

1. Cultural Decline: Since the BSM team joined, the culture has turned "dark" and political, driving away the most capable and dedicated talent. 2. Optics over Substance: Career advancement now favors those who focus on self-promotion rather than actual results or the company’s best interests. 3. Questionable Management: High-level executives are bringing in personal connections as more expensive suppliers, causing financial losses that are being ignored.
