Pros

- Really ambitious projects available to work on. You end up doing something new no one else is doing, but it's challenging. - Great pay and salary compared to the rest of the industry - No office politics, no bs, no nonsense. Leadership is really outcome-focused and hires really incredible staff. If you don't like bureaucracy or cumbersome processes, this place doesn't have it. So much better than working on a big team or big org than the giant tech/corporate companies. - Leadership really cares. They're direct but fair. - Management's communication style isn't modeled after the softer side of Sears. Still, while adding hours to their already busy schedule, they really go out of their way to come up with staff bonding/development activities, which is hard to do. - All the founders care deeply about building a solid company, working with talented people, and putting out stellar content. They are some of the most respectful, sincere C-levels you'll meet in this industry. - Jobs are remote and flexible as long as you get your tasks and work done. Bottom line: If your current boss sucks, you've hit the promotion ceiling at your job, you're unhappy in your giant bureaucratic org, or you need any career change in gaming/tech, apply to Genvid before you quit the industry as a whole. All the traditional BS that comes with working traditional gaming jobs doesn't exist here. However, the bar for talent is high, and you need to hit the mark on your deliverables or be proactive in fixing your errors. There are a lot of moving parts at this company.

Cons

- Not exactly a con, but staff are located globally. You have to do a bit of logistics to coordinate schedules and calendars, but that's the price of a remote gig. People are generally respectful. - The technology can be hard to grasp at first. It's new. There's a huge learning curve that you eventually get over, but it can seem isolating and lonely at the start. Eventually, you find your footing. - There isn't a ton of "culture," but the company is growing really fast. HR is working diligently to create remote events, activities, raffles, etc., to promote team-building efforts. - Imposter syndrome here can be real in the beginning. There are so many brilliant people working here. - It takes time to figure out who does what at the company. New folks are joining all the time. You have to really reach out to people and get time on their calendars to get context on what they're working on.
