I interviewed at Genvid Technologies (Miramar, FL)
Interview
Super pleasant, I was able to do zoom interview. Manager and charge nurse interviewed me they explained everything before I asked, any questions I had they were able to answer immediately
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Genvid Technologies
Interview
A series of remote interviews, 1 with the manager and 3 with different developers on the team. During technical interviews, there was no whiteboarding or code being written. The overall company and teams seem great, and the developers seemed rather well skilled, but the general impression from the company was that there was a lot of developer without a history in the game industry. Not particular a positive or negative thing, but interesting to note given the projects currently undertaken. At the end, when an offer was given, they were unusually inflexible with the details, and absolutely refused any attempts at negotiation. The recruiting company representing Genvid started to get unusually pushy.

Question 1
How would you design a service with the ability to scale up the number of users?
Interview process for me was five calls, starting with the recruiter and up through a chain of hiring managers. First and last call was 30 minutes, the other three were a full hour.

Question 1
Each interview targeted a different skill area, ranging from leadership theory, to hard skills with software, to questions about how past experiences would be applicable. Standard fare in terms of format, but definitely more in-depth than I've encountered before.
