Pros

Remote work & equipment is provided.

Cons

Barely make any money. They hired over 500 people & didn't know what to do with all of us besides sit us all in a class that we were forced to have our cameras on & do computer work that did not tie into the job itself. The managers micro manage you so you are not allowed to do anything but what they say when they say it. They monitor you, your computer work, & screen at all times. They talk to you & treat you as if you are a child attending school remotely. You aren't allowed to speak to other employees in teams separately because you are being watched & they will demand you to stop chatting & delete the message thread. We simply spoke of nothing but the job/work, nothing personal ever & we were still told to stop. We exchanged numbers, me & a few other coworkers & we were told from a manager that we were not allowed to do that. So as you can see, they treat you as if you are a child here & really want to control you & everything that you do. All while getting paid bi-weekly w/ just a few bucks an hour. I barely made over $2000/mo. working here. So not worth it. They also make you go through this extensive process just to get hired & it takes so long to do. They ask for 10 yrs worth of background.

Pros

Market rate compensation, not much else

Cons

AI is dismantling Genpact’s services-focused business model. The result is a toxic work environment with a dying culture: fear of layoffs, unclear goals, constant turnover, and remaining employees absorbing multiple roles as colleagues are fired or leave.
