Pros

Having a flex schedule and the ability to work from home has helped me get the things done I need to while still being able to work. I’ve always felt supported by my manager and my coworkers. If I ever have a question, I can reach out to someone on Genesys Cloud and get an answer. I’ve grown a lot in my career and been given stretch assignments that have allowed me to gain new skills. During the pandemic, our leadership team stepped up. I felt that the leadership team cares about our safety by closing our physical offices and also getting us the equipment I needed to work from home. Plus, having Fridays off in August allows for employees to decompress a bit.

Cons

It's always changing. For me, it's a pro and a con, but it's not easy. There is also the aspect that we are a global company, so sometimes you have to meet with teams at odd hours. Genesys is like any other company. You have to weigh the pros with the cons and see what works for you.

Pros

Interesting take on customer experience using AI. Good pay for the role.

Cons

Favoritism amongst certain individuals and teams. I've heard that some sellers were removed from accounts just as they were going to close deals and therefore lost their commission. The messaging is that you can speak to any leader but that is not always the case.
