Pros

There is plenty of work to be done = job security. The people you meet and work with are great.

Cons

If you are retired military you are a shoe in for a promotion, but if you did not you are screwed. Some teams are ran like a military unit, meaning you are expected to bend over backward for the greater good, but no compensation for long hours or extra $$. The people that have been there for years are regularly asked to train their new boss, for the promotion they were looking forward to. As a former service member myself I have been around too much of the good ol' boys club. That is why many of us did not stay in the military.

Pros

9/80 schedule, subsidized cafeterias, work-life balance, people that care deeply about their work and the product they make

Cons

Did have a 2-day in office hybrid schedule option that was supervisor-dependent. Company president said on a town hall that the schedule would not be changing- the next day his office puts out a policy that all employees are to be back in office by Jun 1 with an option to work from home 1-day a week. When asked about the impact of higher gas prices, the president of the company did not look phased or even aware that rising gas prices are affecting lower-level employees. The company is located in one of the most expensive parts of the nation.
