Pros

Smart people in research and advisory. Good benefits. Culture of respect for each other.

Cons

Outdated processes. Lack of digitalization. Old tools are used. New tools are purchased but no training means underutilization - e.g. MS Teams is used poorly, no asynchronous file editing, instead drafts are emailed back and forth. Senior leaders are an echo chamber, they don't listen to employees or anyone outside the old club. No upward communication, just top down. They need fresh water in the pond - the few newer people don't last because it's a homogenous clique. Leaders only care about upward management. They don't care about employees and treat them as numbers that must produce activity-based metrics, instead of measuring impact. Career progression is impossible as people in senior levels all have company shares and don't go anywhere.

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
