Pros
Gartner is a great place for a professional, experienced account executive/business developer to work and make a lot of money. You need to have refined sales abilities to succeed here as you will be dealing with C-level executives and selling a product/solution that is truly in the eye of the beholder (no speeds or feeds).
Cons
They drive their sales people pretty hard in general. That is not to say they are unfair or unclear about their expectations. It is just that the expectations are high. You are expected to have at least 8 face-to-face client meetings every week, no matter what, as an example.
