Pros
1. Investment on training the Sales people, initially. 2. Exposure to working with people from different geographies across the globe. 3. Transparency on Sales Variable pay outs.
Cons
1. Un-necessary pressure being put on the sales staff. 2. Highly political leadership which have a very subjective way of appraising and promoting people. 3. Immature people with no/ less overall content puts the whole value of advisory relationship as mere transactional. 4. Not much though leadership in Sales strategy and execution. 5. Mostly incompetent Researchers in India, barring 1-2. Not adding much of the relevant content for it to be sold.
